In Five Years (2021) by Rebecca Serle

Rating: 4 out of 5.

In Five Years is a love story, brimming with joy and heartbreak. But it is definitely not the love story you’re expecting.

Dannie (Danielle) is a girl with a plan. She loves numbers, data, control of her destiny. So far she has been able to tick all the key milestones off her life plan. On the night she gets engaged she suddenly has a dream about waking up in another place, with another man and it sets her mind whirling.

Fast forward five years and she’s never quite been able to shake the thought of that dream away. She’s still engaged and for one reason or another, they’ve never set a date. Her best friend Bella introduces her to her new boyfriend who is the man from her dream (awkward).

What you think will be a story about romantic love, is purely just the undertone for the book. It is the story of love between best friends that will have you reaching for your tissues.

Available to buy from Amazon in Hardback, Paperback, Audiobook and Kindle Edition.
