Heading to the Rosewood Ridge Retreat Center, he is distracted by the beautiful woman wiping tables in front of him. It was discovered that Sydney called in about a missing woman after the woman’s friends requested that she do so, so they could return to their conference.
Filing a missing person report for a woman who is attending a conference at the retreat centre, Sydney can’t believe her so-called friends for not doing it themselves. Enjoying the view that Gart offers in his uniform and tattoos as he asks her questions about missing Olivia. Wishing to help find her, she assigns the Rosewood Ridge Rescue volunteers areas to cover and later brings out water to hydrate them.
Instead of sending one of the volunteers down the mountain, Garth heads that way, hoping to see Sydney again. Bumping into her, she gives him more information about why Olivia walked off, and they go to interview her friends. But as the missing person is found, Garth isn’t ready to say goodbye to Sydney and asks her to come to the station. Flirting along the way, they don’t make it to the station, but they do a whole host of investigating in the police car.
