Whilst the Toronto Terror series books are standalone novels, you will be able to get a full understanding of Helena Hunting’s characters if you read the series in the order in which they are published.

Connor Grace is used to being on the outside of things, from family, friendship circles ad his career on the ice. Seen as the villain in the story for the most part, unless you are talking to his Meems (grandmother), who loves him unconditionally. Her health is failing, however, and he knows that she worries he’ll be alone and unloved after she goes. Wanting to give her comfort, he hatches a plan to marry Mildred, loves love Meems just as much, whilst giving her the financial security she needs.

Marrying your best friend’s arch-nemesis is probably not the best idea, but Mildred needs to fix her apartment issues and loves Meems so much. Navigating this arrangement, the two of them discover that they are each broken in their own ways and that love and the feeling of being wanted are not something they have each been accustomed to. But as situations change, they are forced to deal with uncomfortable truths. Is this only ever going to be a contracted relationship, or could something else grow between them?

If You Keep Me: Toronto Terror Series Book 6 by Helena Hunting
