Happy birthday Igglepiggle in the night garden who goes in search of his friends to celebrate his special day. However, Upsy Daisy is too busy practising her singing, the Tombliboos are hanging out their washing and the Pontipines are about to eat lunch. It appears everyone has forgotten his birthday so he decides to play with a bouncing ball that comes his way but it gets a little out of control and splats the Pontipines’ dinner, tangles the Tombliboos washing and blocks Upsy Daisy’s microphone. Feeling bad about wrecking things his friends surprise him with their kindness and a little something else.
Little fans of In the Night Garden will love this beautifully illustrated picture book, filled with all their favourite characters from the show.
