Can you remember when you were younger the books where you had to find all the objects that were around the edge of the pages within the picture? I can, and I loved those books. No matter how many times I’d sit there to complete it I’d always get stuck on at least one thing on the page (usually the really obvious one too). As I got older the Where’s Wally? books became popular, however, I wasn’t such a fan of these as the pages were just too hectic.
Released today is a new book within this interactive category, The Amazing Animal Adventure…
The Amazing Animal Adventure
Come and find the weirdest and most wonderful animals from the heights of the Himalayas to the deepest depths of the Pacific ocean!

Written by Anna Claybourne
Illustrated by Brendan Kearney
Published by Laurence King
ISBN: 9781780678443
The Amazing Animal Adventure book is a large hardback filled with animal fun. With facts of where animals live, how they blend into their habit and the main feature of spotting animals from around the world. Come on an amazing journey around the world, seeking out the weirdest and most wonderful animals!
From the heights of the Himalayas to the deepest depths of the Pacific ocean, explore these 21 exciting places and meet the animals who live in them. Visit the jungle caves of Borneo, the Australian outback, the Arctic ice floes and many, many more!
Your spotter’s notes for each location contain all the animals you meet, plus lots of fantastic extra facts about the places you visit.

The answers are included at the back of the book, but I neglected to tell Roo and Tigger this. I wanted them to persevere with their search instead of taking a peek at the answer sheet.
With additional information included within the book such as animal world records, habit world records and endangered or extinct, it is a book that will be pulled down off the bookshelf repeatedly.

Totally Booked Review
I adore these types of books, they are so interactive whether your little one is sitting there on their own. Or you turn it into a competition between family members as to who can find the animals the fastest etc. The illustrations within the book are amazing and really do add that fun feel to it without being too cartoon like. The Great Barrier Reef one is my favourite as it is just so colourful.
