It’s time to head over to Salt Springs, Colorado to join the Kringle Family Christmas. A series of three books set on each other the Kringle siblings, each happening at the same time so there is a little overlap on the storylines – but good to see things from other characters points of view.

Her rental car has a flat tyre and she is stuck beside the road pondering (aloud) on who she might be able to call to help her. When a stranger appears to offer a helping hand which she is unsure about accepting. Unable to change the tyre he offers her a lift into town and to call a two truck for her. Reluctantly she accepts but is more shocked to find that he is the new farm manager for her families Christmas Tree Farm – oh and he’s staying with her dad too!

There is something about Kristen (or Kay Kay as he likes to call her) that makes him wish that her staying would be a long term plan but she is going back to New York after Christmas so he needs to stay away and guard his heart,

Realising that things are worse with the Kringle Inn than she knew about, Kristen sets up a plan of action to turn things around. Paul has made changes to the tree farm which has helped that side of the business but she is going to need everyone to pull together in order to save the business and help her dad. Jingle Bell Beard (Kringle Family Christmas Book 3) by Julie Kriss

Rating: 4 out of 5.

Seventeen years ago Jasmine stopped dating her then high school hockey boyfriend Matt Kringle. Knowing he was destined for bigger things than Salt Springs she preempted her future heartbreak by ending things before she completely lost her heart to him. Not that this worked, she has thought about him across the years and followed his career (and love life) from afar. A surprise call from his older sister looking to hire her for a last-minute PR campaign for the Kringle Inn and Christmas Tree Farm has her turning her thoughts to the boy who got away once again.

Benched from playing with his NHL team the Chicago Warriors due to a groin injury, Matt is getting paid to do nothing. Whilst he knows that his dad recently broke his leg, Matt’s solution was to throw money at the problem. But a call from his high school girlfriend Jasmine begging him to come home to help save his family’s business – plus help her too has him reluctantly booking a flight home. Seeing Jasmine for the first time in many years she is just as gorgeous as he remembered.

Determined to get her PR career back on track she has to convince Matt to play along with photoshoots, autographs and events. Although the chemistry between them is still very much there she attempts to keep things professional but they end up fake dating when a snapshot of the two of them is published. But neither of them feel like their feelings are fake but surely Matt will be leaving once Christmas is over and Jasmine will be alone once again.
