About the Author and Illustrator – Marjoke Henrichs
Marjoke Henrichs graduated from the MA Children’s Book Illustration course at Cambridge School of Art in 2019. She is also a theatre designer and a painter. She was born in the Netherlands and now lives in Suffolk.
Shortlisted for the BookTrust Storytime Prize 2021
Developed in partnership with libraries, local authorities and families, the BookTrust Storytime Prize project will help disadvantaged families with young children engage with their local public library so that sharing stories becomes a regular and long-lasting part of family life. Copies of the shortlist will be distributed to all pilot libraries and used to encourage families to make repeat visits to their local library. The books will also be integrated into a raft of resources and activities available in a smaller number of libraries to help bring the magic of reading to life.
