He gets surprised when Riley appears in the bar in search of her brother who works at the brewery. Having not seen her for 14 years she is very much grown up but can see that her fiery personality is still there.

Let down by her brother she has to accept Zac’s offer to help her move furniture even if she is still cringing about the kiss she gave him as he headed off on basic training. Although she has other problems that she needs to think about rather than how her body reacts to Zac being close by. Spending more time together it is clear there is a connection but are they ready to face their own demons first?

Juliet thought that she had every detail planned out – head to Caribou Creek, find the man who saved her brother’s lie, fall in love and then head to Hawaii to catch up with her brother. The reality is that finding a place to stay was difficult and ended up with a cabin that had no photos online. Which is nothing more than a rundown shack that nobody has stepped foot in for some time. Luckily Etta from the next cabin takes pity on her and moves her into her spare room.

Not one to make a fuss about his birthday Decker managers to finish work early to head over to his pseudo-grandmother Etta’s cabin for dinner. Josie hands him a six-pack on the way out of the brewery with a smirk on her face but doesn’t quite say happy birthday out loud. Finding that Etta has company is a shock to Decker, even more so when he finds out she was sucked into renting the shack next door.

Nothing is going to plan, Decker thinks she is an idiot about the shack and Juliet is so mortified she lies about why she is in town, making up a story about a bucket list. Etta feels that there is something else going on and tasks Decker with finding out which draws them closer. Unsure of how she can tell him the real reason why she is here but it is clear that she already loves him.

For months they have been dancing around each other but her arrest has put each other closer than they would like as the air crackles around them. 

Aurora confesses that she has been attempting to learn how to cook, Garrett offers to help her which leads to them sharing their first kiss – but duty calls and Garrett is called away. Whilst Aurora is keen to continue where they left off and get him out of her system she knows that she’ll always want more when it comes to the Police Chief. As things heat up between them she finds herself distracted and wonders if all her hard work at the diner has been for nothing. Are they able to find a balance to their spark to ensemble them to do their jobs?
