A wise and moving laugh-out-loud feel-good story for fans of Sophie Kinsella, Mhairi McFarlane and Lindsey Kelk.
Ben Grant is fed up with always meeting the wrong girl. Having just celebrated his 29th birthday by being dumped by his 29th girlfriend, he decides he can’t go on like this. Why can’t he be as blissfully happy as his best friend Ashif, about to marry the beautiful Prithi, a bride chosen for him by his parents? Suddenly, Ben has a great idea: why not ask his own parents to do the same for him?
But while Ben’s parents see this as the perfect opportunity to set their son on the right path to matrimonial bliss, it soon becomes clear that Ben’s idea of the kind of woman he wants to settle down with is quite different from that of his somewhat traditional mum and dad. Following a series of disastrous dates, Ben starts to realise that he wouldn’t let his parents pick him out a shirt to wear, let alone a woman to marry.
But when Ben finally meets the girl he thinks might be ‘the one’, he realises that maybe he does have something to learn from his mum and dad after all. Can he learn the art of romance from his parents and land the girl of his dreams?

The thing is, it was Sam who did the proposing, and the more he thinks about it, the less he’s sure that she was actually asking him to marry her. She could have just been asking the question, you know…hypothetically.
As the wedding day draws nearer, Ed becomes more and more uneasy. Sam keeps disappearing off for furtive meetings and private phone calls, and when he spies her going into a pub with a man he’s never seen before, all his old jealousies and insecurities threaten to re-surface. It’s the perfect time for Ed’s unhinged ex-girlfriend, Jane, to show up on his doorstep.
Meanwhile, Dan – Ed’s best friend and soon-to-be-best-man – is determined to throw him a stag night to remember. And when a severely hung-over Ed wakes up the morning after the night before to see a second dent in the pillow, it seems as if Dan has got his wish.
Will Ed manage to find out the truth about his stag night as well as the identity of Sam’s secret man? Or will an accidental proposal lead them both down the aisle to a wedding neither of them ever imagined?

Home is a funny, bittersweet, heart-warming novel from the bestselling author of A Day at the Office.
There’s no place like home—except when it’s a faded resort town like Derton-on-Sea. Which is why, eighteen years ago, Josh Peters couldn’t wait to escape the place he thinks of as ‘the last resort’ for the bright lights of London.
Now his dad is sick, and his mum needs him, so he’s back, living in his cramped teenage bedroom. But he’s promised himself he won’t be staying for long.
With simmering family tensions a little too close for comfort, and amongst the old friends, old enemies, and old flames he left behind, he’s worried that some things may never change.
But is Derton the same place he was desperate to leave back then, full of failures and bitter memories, or has it been doing just fine without him? As Josh revisits his past, will he find that the only one who hasn’t moved on is him?
His London life is calling him back. But sometimes, home is where the heart is…

Julie’s got a surprise for Mark—though it’s something she’s not even sure she wants. Meanwhile, Mark’s got another choice to make: the love of his life, or the opportunity of a lifetime?

An RNA Romantic Novel of the Year Award nominee.
When Noah Wilson first encounters the quirky, opinionated and very beautiful Angel Fallon, his world is turned upside down. It’s clear she’s not his normal type, but Noah can’t stop thinking about her—which doesn’t bode well for the blind date he’s already late for.
Convinced by his friend (and self-professed dating expert) Marlon that thirteen dates is all you need to fall in love, Noah decides to give it a try with Angel. They should be incompatible: she’s impulsive and he’s a planner; he wants to settle down and she doesn’t ‘do’ relationships—or anything, for that matter—the way Noah is used to. But there’s something about Angel, and Noah can’t shake the idea that all they need is twelve more dates.
Despite some near-disasters involving rock climbing, saddle sores and jellied eels, it seems his plan may actually work. But even if they do reach the magic number, can that really mean they’ll just fall into their happily-ever-after?

Livia’s been planning her wedding to Jed for ages. Now, at the venue in beautiful Barcelona, with her dress pressed and the guests all on their way, she’s only left one tiny detail until the last minute: letting the groom know he’s about to get hitched.
But as far as Jed’s concerned, they’ve been bumping along just fine for ten years and even have a baby on the way, so why spoil things with an ‘I do’? Especially when he’d really rather not.
Meanwhile, the guests arrive with plenty of baggage of their own. Fading reality star, Liam’s still on the lookout for a plus-one; Rachel has refused to come—and dumped her into the bargain, and divorcee Patrick’s date is more of the ‘mid-life crisis’ variety.
But as the ceremony approaches, and with no sign of Jed, there’s only one thing on all of their minds: will there be a bride and groom at the wedding?

From the bestselling author of At the Wedding comes a story of two perfect strangers who might just be perfect for each other.
Dream date . . . or an absolute nightmare?
Lisa’s dated a series of disastrous men; Simon’s loved and lost the girl of his dreams. She’s hoping fate might intervene in her love life; he’d prefer that it stopped meddling with his.
Today, they’re meeting, courtesy of the local paper’s “Blind Date” feature—but while Lisa’s looking for that elusive “spark”, Simon’s sure lightning doesn’t strike twice. Will theirs be a love that’s written in the stars, or merely another mismatch written up in the Gazette?
Totally Booked UK Review: It is a story that follows Lisa and Simon through a blind date that was arranged by their best friends (who happen to be dating each other). Lisa has a habit of rushing into relationships with both feet; she’s not been very lucky in love. Hoping that a blind date might have a better outcome. Simon is still recovering from the loss of his girlfriend, who died two years ago in an accident. Although they had only dated for six months, he can’t shake the feeling that she could have been his happily ever after.
Lisa understood that the blind date was part of a column in the local newspaper. Simon, however, believes he is meeting his best mate for lunch until he gets a call five minutes beforehand. Unhappy about the set-up, he goes ahead with the date, hoping to have one drink and then head off.
It’s a catalogue of disasters from before the date even starts. Despite the bickering and annoyance on both sides, they manage to get through the blind date. Each one of them starts thinking more about the other as the day goes on, and they complete the newspaper questionnaire.
It’s a predictable ending, but it is still an enjoyable read.
