Claire Frost grew up in Manchester, the middle of three sisters. She always wanted to do a job that involved writing, so after studying Classics at Bristol University she found a job in magazines.
For the last 10 years she’s worked at The Sun on Sunday’s Fabulous magazine, where she is Assistant Editor and Books Editor. She can mostly be found at her desk buried beneath an ever-increasing pile of books or at home writing funny and heart-warming novels about love, life and social media.

Married At First Swipe (2021) by Claire Frost
In the modern tech-fuelled world of dating, is it possible to find true love?
Set over the course of a year following the lives and love of two best friends Jess and Hannah. Jess has been with her husband for twenty years (married for almost ten years), the pressures of family life, financial woes and running a business is taking their toll on her.
Hannah, on the other hand, has returned from travelling the world deciding to stay close to home for her family. Love isn’t something that comes easy to her and has had her fair share of dating app nightmares.
Both working for Jess’s Save The Date dating app – for those looking for long term love rather than a fling. It’s struggling financially and Hannah comes up with an idea to help both the app and herself. She’ll get married to a blind date that Jess chooses from the app.
This book felt as though it was trying to be two stories in one. Focusing on the ups and downs of long term relationships as well as the blind date marriage idea. I don’t think that it worked all in one book. I would have preferred more detail and depth to each Best friend’s story separately.
Available to buy from Amazon in Paperback, Audiobook and Kindle Edition.
