From the moment Walker briugh Sam into the Ghost Team, Bear has been watching her from afar. Going out of his way to bring her coffee and pastries etc. but as a man of few words, he barely grunts at her throughout their time working together. A new mission in Miami which would see Sam and Logan pretending to be married is a step too far for Bear and surprises everyone when he pulls Nash out of the meeting to request that he goes on Logan’s behalf.
There is something about Bear that Sam can’t quite put her finger on. He does nice things for her but then hard;y speaks to her, then to top it all off he changes the mission and becomes her new fake husband. Whilst she doesn’t need to worry about forcing any feelings towards him she’s not sure that he’ll be up to the task.
