A little white lie. A little white wedding. A pair of roommates in over their heads.
Days before she’s set to move across the country and start a prestigious graduate program, a con artist leaves Emmy with no where to live and less than zero dollars in her bank account. But her day doesn’t seem quite so bad compared to Beckett’s–his fiancée called off their wedding just days before they tie the knot. Now he’s single and ineligible for his place in married student housing.
So what are a girl without a home and a guy without a wife supposed to do? A quickie wedding in Vegas will solve both their problems. It’s a business arrangement, and no one even needs to know. They’ll just get an annulment in a few months. What could go wrong?
Only Beckett forgot to mention his new apartment is a one-bedroom. And neither of them counted on their new friends at Middlesex University thinking they’re a great couple.
The platonic newlywed game might be harder to play than Emmy thought. Especially when it starts to feel less than platonic.
Totally Booked UK Review: Emmy has had a bad day, the worst day in fact. Just days before heading to grad school she has been a victim of fraud via her new roommate. Leaving her with no money and nowhere to live when she gets to Middlesex University.
Beckett is also having a bad day, his girlfriend Emily since high school has not only decided that she won’t be attending Middlesex University with him but that she doesn’t want to get married either. Which means that he isn’t going to be able to move into his married student accommodation.
Having been roommates for two years with four other students, Emmy and Beckett opt for an unlikely solution to their problems. They will get married! – Emmy is actually an Emily, so the housing office won’t know any different and she’ll be able to stay until she gets her money back from the bank and finds a new roommate.
Sounds straightforward, right? As good friends already they are used to being around each other, however, their new friends at Middlesex University believe they are married so they need to act as though they are in love, kissing, hand-holding and showing affection.
An easy read, filled with banter, will-they / won’t-they moments and a few tears too.

6 weddings, 2 old friends, 1 childhood crush that left her crushed.
Hadley isn’t exactly leading a life that anyone would call #goals: living with her parents and walking dogs for money. This should be the perfect time to avoid seeing too many people, so the half dozen wedding invitations waiting for her RSVP feel awfully judgey. Especially the one from her childhood crush.
So when Hadley runs into her old friend, Will, who seems to be a fellow resident of Loserville, she wonders if they can’t help each other out. A simple agreement to avoid banishment to the dreaded Singles’ Table.
All Hadley wants is show her childhood crush what he’s been missing all these years. Chicken or beef? If it’s up to her, this groom is going to eat his heart out.
Even if he is Will’s brother.

Secrets can be sweet. Secrets can be dirty. Secrets can change everything.
Mary’s always been the kind of person you can trust with a secret. Her lips are guaranteed sealed. Unfortunately, she’s just as good at keeping her own secrets. Like the one about her crush on her former roommate, Jake who moved 2,000 miles away without knowing how she felt about him.
Thanks to their friends’ destination wedding in Mexico, however, Mary is about to be face-to-face with Jake—and the rest of her friends—for the first time in two years. Will she be able to find the courage to tell him how she feels? And even if she does, what happens when they all go home again?
Every guest at this wedding seems to have a secret of their own. When all the truth comes out, will it lead to a broken heart or a happily ever after?
