There is something about Mary Cat (as Digger likes to call her) that draws out Digger’s protective side. Suggesting a marriage of convenience to get her away from Bill Murphy and they make their way to Vegas on his bike. Slowly finding ease with each other and friendship turning to more. But as the Five Points Mob’ put pressure on the Sinners to give Mary Cat back it is time to meet with the O’Donnelly’s and it is a banter-filled affair with Mary Cat showing she has a set of balls on her as he threatens Aidan Sr.

Reunited they don’t quite get the first face-to-face meeting they had hoped for but help from a family member has them seeking out things from the past in order to eradicate the Sparrows but will get hurt along the way?

They are fighting battles on what feels like all sides, from the NSW, crap from her grandfather and his brothers/family sticking their opinion in. He has always been the one to drop everything for his family no matter how busy he is, so he is surprised and pleased when Star stands up for him and creates boundaries to enable him his own life – and a slice of happiness with Star and Kat.

As they navigate information found about the New World Sparrows and the United Brotherhood they make some dark discoveries and tough decisions are needed as a result. Needing to work as a team, Star comes to learn to rely on Conor and her wider circle of friends – who are essentially her family that she never realised were always in her corner. Will they be able to bring the Sparrows to their knees? and will this enable them to have their happily ever after?

Filthy Richer (The Five Points’ Mob Book 10)

Seven years after we left Eoghan and Inessa behind we are treated to an extended epilogue in this Five Points’ Mob novella.

Watching his pregnant wife collect her college diploma Eoghan is feeling a mixture of emotions. Proud that Inessa has managed to work hard and gain her longed-for qualification. Yet he is feeling the need to punish his disobedient wife after a spat about which heels she wanted to wear alongside the Kate Spade dress he bought her for the graduation. Speaking with Savannah about learning more about women’s fashion in order to treat Inessa in the future.

Now that Inessa has graduated it means that Eoghan is able to pay a visit to the Dean who propositioned her to his office. feeling better about being able to take revenge on those who go against his wife. Although since his return from Moscow, Eoghan has felt out of control and his cleaning and OCD tendencies are taking over his life and beginning to push Inessa away. An intervention by his brothers has him realising that Inessa and Bump are the most important people in his life and he is equally important to them too.

Their arranged marriage has always been fiery which aids their sex life too. Unwilling to let things fester they are ready to state their case, point out issues and be in each other’s corner when needed. This a beautiful update from the unlikely marriage that has blossomed into a deep love.
