I read this book on a whim and actually decided that I wouldn’t enjoy it as I read the first chapter. Having loved a film of the same name, I assumed that this would be a rip-off of the storyline. Which whilst it has some similarities in that a girl has been dumped and she needs to attend a wedding and of course, requires a date. It follows a different path to the film I know and love.
Falling in love with the characters and longing to discover what distraction Jake is escaping from when he agrees to be Samanthas date. I loved this book!
