The Love In Short series from Emily James is a set of rom-com novels with lashings of banter, fun and all the feels. It is recommended for readers over the age of 18 due to adult content and can be read as standalone books or enjoyed as a whole series.
Set in the UK but with a decidedly American feel to them they offer a fun and at times hot dose of alpha males who are pushed by the women in their lives – just don’t try to think about where in the UK it’s all based because it’s fruitless.

But he is pushing the boundaries of their relationship too far without communicating with her first. Pushing and pulling from both sides but when Grace discovers that this is pregnant is Sebastian man enough to stick around? Or will he walk away leaving her to pick up the pieces?

Although the chance to escape the women of the town to collect the cake is welcomed as he has a bit of a reputation and history with many of them. Introducing himself to a beautiful woman in the bakery he is put in his place by someone who had a childhood crush on him.
Working her way up the ranks at Stone Enterprises Rosie enjoys being Sebastian’s PA. Although his recent decision to move out of the city and to Heaven to be near his family and Grace has left Rosie wondering if she needs to request a transfer as she has enough of the small-town life in years gone by. Being pulled over for speeding on the way to her bosses wedding with the cake she is able to get away from the cop twice. although reality hits when she finds out that the cop is Luke – Sebastian’s brother.
Whilst they appear to have a love/hate relationship Rosie manages to walk away from the possibility of sleeping with him even though she was very tempted – only to find that they are drawn together by looking after Grace’s cat. leading to a push and pull between them. Luke is working on a big case, whilst Tosie is attempting to fly under the radar given her background but when she needs to help her father one last time will this put her in danger in more than one way?

Finding themselves drawn together along the way but as Flo can never give him the family he deserves she has to make some difficult decisions.
