She is just a friend, who has been through so much that he doesn’t want to change things and possibly lose her.
Alexis has had a troubled few years. Between losing her mom to cancer, the sexual harassment scandal with a famous chef and opening her cat cafe / safe place for sexual abuse victims. Luckily she has had Noah in her life for the past 18 months. A good friend is there to support her throughout the highs and lows but overstepping that line in the sand might make her lose that friendship and she’s not sure she can do that.
Both are still dealing with past revelations, the guilt, the anger and the loss that comes with that. Will it bring them closer together or push each other away? Can Noah learn about romance and women as part of Mack’s Bromance Book Club?

With his passion for romance novels, it was only a matter of time before Vlad took up the pen to write a novel the Bromance Book Club would swoon over.
Vlad aka The Russian has been living somewhat of a lie for the past six years. Having married a childhood friend in order to get her away from Russia. He had hopes that they would have a real marriage but six months into living in the US she headed off to Chicago. Wishing to become a better husband, and understand women and romance he joined The Bromance Book Club.
Elena has finally finished college and hopes to follow in her father’s footsteps and become a journalist. However, her marriage VISA doesn’t allow her to work in the US so she plans to return home to Russia. Shutting the door on any hopes Vlad has for a real marriage between them. But when Vlad is injured and she is called to go and see him in the hospital they are at war with each other over whether she should stay and help him during recovery or leave as she had planned.
Being back in Vlad’s home she meets the rest of the Bromance Book Club, the Loners Club as well as the numerous animals that seem to have adopted his house as their second home. Misunderstandings and miscommunications lead to them pushing each other back and forth, Between Vlad’s romance novel and Elena’s research into her father’s case they need to overcome personal obstacles in order to see the love in their hearts – but is it too late?

Summoned to her family estate, her brother promises her a place on the Winthrop charitable foundation. Although he also wants her to sign Colton up as the new ambassador for the family Whiskey brand, To say that she has a difficult relationship with her family is an understatement but she wants to work on the foundation board.
Swallowing her pride she meets with Colton who agrees to hear more about the proposal as long as she goes out on a date with him. Colton can’t understand Gretchen, why she walked away, why she hates Christmas and the walls she places around her heart. With the help of the Bromance Book Club, he is determined to open her eyes to life, Christmas and the possibility of love with him. Can Mr Sunshine show the Grumpy One that they can embrace the lighter side of things?
