A Deserted Island by Skye Warren and Amelia Wilde
The Crash (A Deserted Island Prologue) by Skye Warren and Amelia Wilde
Carter Morelli works alone, but his orders are clear. Pilot the small aircraft carrying the renowned photographer to a remote island.
Carter Morelli is sitting waiting for a photographer to arrive so that he can hop on board his plane and fly out of London. As a professor, he is headed on a research trip and is due to take June Porter along with him who will be taking photos along the way. Except he was expecting some middle-aged woman to arrive, not some beauty wearing a lacy dress, complete with a whole host of baggage for their three-week trip.
A nervous flyer, June is already worried about the flight, even more so when she realises it will be just the two of them on it and Carter will be flying the plane. Forgetting her Xanex Carter assures her that everything will be OK as she sits next to him in the cockpit. But a bumpy ride is ahead for them both as the engines fail mid-flight.
Chating to June he can’t quite work out whether it is just her that is easy to talk to or she can read him like a book as she makes jokey comments about his life that hit closer to home than she realises. An emergency landing on a deserted island has Carter realising that this was no accident and attempting not to panic June about the situation they are now in.
