“Can you live with the devil, Riley because it’s hot in hell?”
The definition of pain is Lucian Romano.
I will never forget that name or the man that owns it.
Dark, wicked, cruel and so hot he melts fire.
I thought he was the owner of the hotel I was staying in.
I thought he would be the person to hear my complaint and I thought he knew right from wrong.
I was mistaken.
I should have noticed the fear in the receptionist’s eyes when she saw him coming.
I should have kept my mouth shut and walked – no run away fast.
But I was a fool.
I walked right up to him and prodded the beast.
Then he pounced and I found myself locked in a cage in his bedroom.
He’s so dark and dangerous I can almost taste the ash from the pit of hell.
Power blazes from his eyes like lightning from Neptune’s trident and my heart sinks as I see what a huge mistake I just made.
This man doesn’t play games – he creates them.
I’ve had better days, I’ve had better vacations but as it turns out, I’ve never had better than him.

The Throne of Hate: The Romanos Book 2 by Stella Andrews
Published 27th September 2020
Format: Paperback and Kindle Edition
Pages: 247
The definition of hate is Dante Romano.
Hate never tasted so good.
I thought I was finally free from a life filled with hatred and pain.
Tomorrow, my life was going to start when I graduated from Eden Manners Academy for childcare, and under the terms of my grandmother’s will, I could collect my millions at the door.
There was no money at the door—just him.
Dante Romano.
He was not alone.
A little boy, his mirror image, his son.
I wonder what brave woman took this man on because this man is a god.
He is untouchable, and as I stare, the little boy looks at me through those same soulless eyes, and it breaks my heart.
He’s lost, they are lost, and even though I’ve just met them, it’s like a painting of an artist who lost control. It’s messy, violent, all over the place but so strong and beautiful it takes my breath away—a masterpiece, father & son.
I was so close to enjoy the freedom, but my grandmother dealt a painful blow from the grave.
Work for one year after graduation before the money could be mine.
I never got a choice. He made me an offer I tried to refuse: work for him or die.
I’ve been bullied before, but they were nothing like him.
Dante Romano is the definition of hate, and that was the least of my problems.

“Dear heart, why him?”
This is a love story between strangers who should never have met. A tragedy and a fairy tale where the bad guy steals the princess.
I’m Romeo Romano,
Deep, dark and damaged for a very good reason—my past.
I take what and who I want and then discard them and move on to the next. They think it’s because I don’t feel—I feel too much.
It’s always been her. The one I have placed on a pedestal out of reach.
The woman who stirs emotion that I keep well hidden.
She is the light to my shade. The good to my bad and the Angel to my Devil. She outlines my edges and colors in my soul.
She doesn’t even know I exist.
Like a stalker, I watch from afar. I torture myself with a vision of what will never be mine, and I punish those that cross my path because they aren’t her. Ivy Jackson, goddess, perfection, prim and proper, the Juliet I can never have.
Everywhere I look, she’s all I see.
She is the guilty secret I don’t even share with myself.
Unfinished business that never began, one big complication.
Then I learn something that changes everything. She’s in trouble and I can’t stand by and watch her fall.
I am waiting to catch her and set her on her feet again, but as soon as she falls into my arms, I know I’m never giving her back.
