Working as a junior copywriter for a furniture company, Hannah is able to support her older sister Ally who has MS. Although daydreaming about the man she has been messaging via Lovemail for the past month has her thinking very differently about chairs she should be writing about for the new fall line. Having an alter ego SweetVixen enables her to be braver and bolder than she may normally be in real life, especially as her ex-boyfriend thought that she was dull and unimaginative.

Being CEO of his families furniture company, Trent is never short of female admiration but there is something about SweetVixen that has captivated his attention and loves the messages he receives from her. Arranging to meet after a month he is shocked to see her come into the restaurant and then leave when she spots him. Tracking her down after asking an IT tech was easier than he anticipated as she works for his company – possibly one of the reasons why she bolted from their first date. Still wanting her, he is ready to pursue her and act out all the things they messaged about.

Dating the CEO can never go well, can it? She needs her job in order to support her sister but there is something about Trent that draws out the inner minx from Hannah. Although they have shared info from their pasts via Lovemail when some of those pasts come back to bite them in the bum is it time for them to cut ties with each other? Although there is a sense of relief finding out about her cheating ex before they married there is still a bitter sting to it all. Heading to the bar for wine and carbs as well as a little eye candy in the form of bartender Jace.

Over the past few years, Jace has noticed Celia coming into the bar although recently without her prissy boyfriend. Assisting her with a red wine spillage they make plans to head home together. Although call from his brother Trent puts a spanner in the works as he invites him to his weddings. Jace announces that he’ll be bringing his own fiance with him – much to the surprise of Celia. Unable to get her out of his head he comes up with a plan to get her to agree to be his fake fiancee for a week whilst giving her a week to remember.

Celia can’t even remember why she agreed to this ridiculous fake fiance idea – although seeing Jace at the airport sends a warmth through her and she can’t wait to be alone with him. Navigating through the wedding preparations and family functions before falling into each other’s arms at the end of each day. Suddenly feeling so much more than fake to Celia and a wave of guilt hits her when Jace’s family do all they can to include her in the festivities. But is this all just fake? Can they ever be more than a week-long fling?

Attending a gala she feels very much out of place and guarding her words around questions about her father.

Luke has always been the creative energy behind his families business but when his older brother Trent wants time off for paternity leave he steps up as CEO. Not fully understanding just how much work goes into the role and how Trent does this day in, day out. Attending a gala he spots a redhead beauty across the room, coming to her rescue when a creep won’t take no for an answer. Opting to only share names but no work talk they enjoy a fabulous night together but she leaves the next morning without giving him her number.

Collaborating on a charity Christmas campaign sees Bree and Luke coming face to face and understanding just who the other is. Whilst they may be business rivals they can’t seem to keep their hands off each other. Indulging in a secret affair that would damage Luke’s IPO application if it came out, whilst Bree is fighting fires at Bailey Living and navigating what the future holds for her – but she and Luke can never be a long term thing – right?
